DEBATE

Playing to the Base

We have heard from both John McCain and Barack Obama that they will work to usher in a new bi-partisan era of across the aisle cooperation in Washington - which candidate do you believe has the most realistic chance of achieving this goal ?

Despite the outcome of the election, and my own personal vote, I think McCain probably would have had an easier time with Democrat cooperation than I think Obama will have receiving Republican cooperation. I try to stay as in the middle as possible, but for those on the far left, it appears the need for bipartisanship is pretty well understood, while those on the far right would remain in character to continue party vs. party politics. I hope I am wrong.
